I recently had the pleasure of staying at Tierkloof Mountain Cottages and was absolutely blown away by the exceptional experience it provided. the Dragon Rock cottage was a true gem, boasting a beautifully furnished interior, a luxurious indoor/outdoor bathroom, and a kitchen that was not only well-equipped but also stocked with thoughtful extras like olive oil and balsamic vinegar. the outdoor area was a paradise in itself, with a plunge pool and a hot tub that offered breathtaking views, creating a perfect setting for relaxation. One of the highlights for me was the incredibly secluded location of the cottage, perched on the side of a hill, providing a sense of complete isolation and tranquility. the attention to detail in the kitchen, including the availability of essential cookware and consumables, further elevated the experience, ensuring that every need was anticipated and met. the presence of free toiletries, such as fragrant shower gels, added a touch of luxury to the stay, enhancing the overall comfort and indulgence. the abundance of outdoor spaces, from the poolside area with its stunning vistas to the under-cover braai room, provided a variety of options for dining and unwinding.
